Mai Niwas

Mai Niwas is the cosmic centre of Mai-ism.

Built in 1949, it remains the sanctum sanctorum, the holy of holies, for Mai-ists.

It is situated at the westernmost end of Saraswati Road, Santacruz (West), Mumbai 400054.

It was here that the great saint and founder of the universal religion of Mai-ism, Mai Swarupa Mai Markandji, spent several years of his blessed life alone in deep meditation of Mother Mai.

Most merciful Mother Mai, the universal divine mother, resides here eternally with her abiding smile, ever ready to come to the aid of her devotees. It is here that countless people have been relieved of their miseries.

Even today, simply being here and breathing here is a divine experience in itself. Just be here and you will feel the divinity of the place for yourself.
